Air Force Research Laboratory Human System Integration Report Highlights SkillsNET Tools WAXAHACHIE, TX July 1, 2008 - SkillsNET® announced today the Air Force Research Laboratory study, “Human System Integration Support Tools with Links to DoD System Acquisition Phases”, credits SkillsNET® tools as effective in the manpower, personnel capability, and training analysis all of which are linked to the various Department of Defense acquisition milestones and performance benchmarks. The study is a comprehensive analysis of the DoD acquisition process and sophisticated tools and will serve as a dashboard for Human System Integration professionals. A copy of the report will be available from the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). “It is very satisfying the SkillsNET tools were recognized and to know the tools meet the DoD standard and contribute to the important acquisition process, “said Michael Brown, SkillsNET CEO. “ Helping the United States Navy define SkillObjects® for manpower and training requirements for the new Littoral Combat ship was one of many DoD related watermark events and launched the Navy on a path toward Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3, data integration (iDAP).” SkillsNET tools equip and enable a variety of operational environments ranging from consumer products to war fighting equipment design to define manpower and training requirements. Personnel Capabilities: The cognitive and physical capabilities required to train for, operate, maintain, and sustain materiel and information systems. Staff count and composition; total cost. Personnel required and available personnel skills and aptitudes; physical abilities; security clearances; retention or attrition rates; total cost. Training Types of training and lengths of training; recurrent training requirements; impact of training on readiness; total cost of training.
