SkillsNET Founder & CEO Michael Brown to keynote EFQUEL iLearning Forum

WAXAHACHIE, TX December 2006 -

The European Foundation for Quality in eLearning (EFQUEL) is hosting its first annual iLearning Forum in Paris, France, January 29th-30th. SkillsNET’s founder and CEO, Michael Brown, has been honored as the keynote speaker for this inaugural event and will focus on Human Capital Interoperability and Employability in order to provide a framework for the use of digital technologies in the management of quality assurance processes. Brown will also be addressing the need to have quality education content, equal to quality skills and competency content and metrics.

This forum aims to equip learning professionals in both education and training with the means to design and implement digital strategies at the service of all forms of learning: individual and organizational, face to face and at a distance, initial and continuing, professional and personal.

SkillsNET is also a member of the EFQUEL Executive Team and will have the opportunity to make continuous inputs to the formation and adoption of a global eLearning quality movement, linking together knowledge, information and learning technologies.

About SkillsNET
SkillsNET provides a revolutionary tool suite and consulting service, which allows enterprises to rapidly capture work, worker, and workplace skill data elements (SkillObjects®) and their relationship to performance. The SkillsNET methodology allows employers to capture their workforce environment through web-based applications with minimal worker and capital investment. Highly trained Skills Analysts and Industrial and Organizational Psychologists, available on-site or via phone, assist the employee and employer through the data collection process. At the end of the process, employers receive a detailed analysis of the skill base required in their workforce, the level of skill in the current workforce, and the performance standards needed to operate in today's dynamic environment. SkillsNET methodology is aligned with the Department of Labor O*NET taxonomy. For additional information please visit www.skillsnet.com.
