SkillsNET® Awards the University of Oklahoma Major Research and Development Grant

WAXAHACHIE, TX October 3, 2006 -

In the third quarter of 2006, SkillsNET awarded the University of Oklahoma (OU) a one year research and development grant in support of SkillsNET's cutting edge SkillObject development process. SkillsNET and OU are working in collaboration to support job analysis and SkillObject Technology efforts for the United States Navy and to enhance job analysis tools/business processes that will further enhance SkillsNET's Integrated Talent Management (ITM) system. OU will assist in the design of products and processes designed to increase the time efficiency and reliability of the current Integrated Talent Management system.

"It is anticipated that the outputs of the good work that will be done under this contract will not only benefit SkillsNET, but also the Industrial Organizational Psychology community as a whole," says Dr. Darrel Sandall, Chief Scientist and President of SkillsNET Innovations.

About SkillsNET
SkillsNET provides a revolutionary tool suite and consulting service, which allows enterprises to rapidly capture work, worker, and workplace skill data elements (SkillObjects®) and their relationship to performance. The SkillsNET methodology allows employers to capture their workforce environment through web-based applications with minimal worker and capital investment. Highly trained Skills Analysts and Industrial and Organizational Psychologists, available on-site or via phone, assist the employee and employer through the data collection process. At the end of the process, employers receive a detailed analysis of the skill base required in their workforce, the level of skill in the current workforce, and the performance standards needed to operate in today's dynamic environment. SkillsNET methodology is aligned with the Department of Labor O*NET taxonomy. For additional information please visit www.skillsnet.com.
