Prizes include trophies and awards for accomplishments that include first, second and third place; longest drive; nearest shot to pin and a putting contest.

There are also several hole-in-one contests slated with prizes that include a Dell computer, a Bose CD Player and Hogan DH5 golf clubs. The winner of the hold-in-one contest on the 10th hole will win a new car valued at $16,000.00 donated by Carlisle Chevrolet, according to Elizabeth Thomas, WPA Development Director.

The Waxahachie Preparatory Academy (WPA), one of thirteen University-Model schools in the United States, is beginning its fifth year with a record enrollment, according to Administrator John Cullen.
